Where to find replacement mattress?

Hello, I scanned previous responses to this question and didn't quite find what I was looking for.

I'd like to replace our 5th wheel mattress. Pretty sure it's a shortened queen.

Do RV mattress dealers exist that specialize in odd sizes or do I need to find a mattress shop and ask for a custom built one?

Recommendations are appreciated.

The company I work for is the biggest retailer up here in canada and we sell Simmons Beautyrest in short RV size all the time. The guys in the sales dept. tell me as long as you give them a couple days lead time they can bring them in for you. I hear we also keep a couple in the warehouse during peak months for those that need one right way.
No need to sleep on a bad bed is what I always say. saying That my trailer was easy to accomodate a regular queen even though it came with a shorty. Everyone tells me I sleep better camping than most do at home and I tell people that is the way it should be.
I go away for a good rest so may as well go for it. The cost difference between a good and a bad sleep is not worth fighting over. Do it right and be comfortable. Buying at my cost helps but even a consumer has the right to sleep well. Especially full timers and those that spend a lot of time in your RV.

Got our memory foam from a dealer on ebay.
It's a short queen. Love it.

Bought our short-queen from Denver Mattress. So comfortable we got a bigger one for the house!

They have a pillow type top and although the underlying mattress is of a type of memory foam, it was explained to us that is made of multiple smaller (rounded) pieces that act like memory foam springs. Can't describe the construction in detail without taking it apart, of course. All I can say is that have suffered from a bad lower back for 40 years, and this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned.

www.bedinabox.com sells an RV Queen that fit our platform perfectly. We bought the Pacbed original, 11" deep with gel for coolness. The 11" is more firm than the 9" which we prefer. Love it!! We bought it from recommendations on this site. It comes shipped in a box. You take out the old mattress, take the box in the RV, uncrate and unwrap the mattress and voila! Great guarantee too.

You can buy a standard length queen memory foam mattress and simply trim 6 inches off the length with a sharp knife or electric carving knife. We did this and it is super comfortable.

We got our new rv mattress (short queen) from Overstock.com. Was delivered via UPS. It is a memory foam mattress.

We went to the local chain mattress store. They had them at their warehouse in town so had it within a matter of a day or so.
