After towing my Carriage Cameo for 71,000 miles my 48RE transmission died. Lost 2nd gear. I just had the transmission rebuilt with a billet shaft, must stronger valve body and TC. Cost to rebuild $460...

YEs a Billet flex plate was installed. I had the transmission services every 25000 miles. Band where adjusted as needed.
