1994 alfa gold slide out will not retract

I had the same thing happen years ago on my 1994 Alfa Gold. Under the trailer there was a screwed cover that once removed allowed me to crawl up and re-attach the motor that came loose from its mounting position. I used lock washers and it stayed till I sold the trailer. If your not hearing the motor operate, you could have another problem but you need to at least crawl up and look. I don't recall any crank hole or way to manually move that slide.

On our 1994 Alfa a wire nut came loose at the motor. I had to remove the pan covering the slideout mechanicals underneath the 5th wheel. As soon as I saw the motor with the two loose wires I knew what was wrong. Twisted them back together put on a new wire nut along with black tape to hold it and the other wire nut in place. Screwed the pan back on rechaulked and we were ready to go.
It took about 45 minutes.

Should be a opening under the rear portion of the slide, near the back corner not easily accessible. It may have a plug in it that needs to be removed.

Slide out switch will need to be pushed while manually retracting in order to release motor brake.
