Hi all have a friend looking at a 2015 3500 Ram Dually,He has a Cedar Creek Fiver 16,000lbs,the the is a diesel but only has a 3:42 rear ends in it,is that enough ratio for a 16000 lb trailer,or shoul...
Most of the Ram 3500 duallies I see on the lot here in Texas are 3.73 trucks. There are some 3.42 trucks (the standard axle ratio - thanks EPA and CAFE standards), but 4.10s are hard to find. I had to drive to Alabama to buy the truck in my signature that I found on an internet search. Normally I have to order them to get the 4.10s.
