Looking to take my 40ft fifth-wheel to fisherman's Island state park in Michigan. The height is 13' 2" looking to stay at north loop has anyone else stayed there with large fifth-wheel my main concern is low branches. Park is not close so I can't really scout it out.

I assume that you do mean michigan, I have a 38ft fifth and when I drove through last summer, I didn't feel comfortable taking mine in there. But on another site, someone said the north loop is smaller sites than the north. Pm me if you need more help, I'm north of there in petoskey

???????? The north loop is smaller sites than the north?

Are those north -or- north of the Minnesota loop?..:W

Sorry I did mean Minnesota, my point is before you pull a big rig into a state park it's a good idea to check out the site and roads to and from it before hand to see if you are going to have a problem.

Ours is not as long, but is higher. The state parks in Minnesota can be hard to get into. The last one we were the park ranger took me in his pick-up to a site he thought would work for us, but I did see some low hanging branches, he had them cut. Now they weren't busy, but before you head in you might see about checking out your site before heading in.
