50 amp 90 degree connector where to buy

I am trying to purchase a 50 amp 90 degree connector for my Montana. My cord it fine but the connector is bad and rather than replacing it with another straight 50 amp female connector I want to go with a 90 degree version so that the cable hangs straight down. anyone know where I can find one please post or send me the link?

You're not paying attention Enblethen, the two comments above yours were directed to Boshog, not the OP.

I do not believe you understand what the OP wants.
The detachable cords put a lot of strain on the receptacle built into the rig. He wants the 90 degree connector on the cord to allow the cord to hang straight down the exterior wall of the rig.
This cannot be attained by rotating the receptacle in the rig.

Turn the connector on the RV, easy as pie.

Yes, they say that it is not listed in their catalog

Sounds like the adapter is the only way to go.:(

Thanks for all the input.

Really disappointing but I have a big RV dealer I plan to stop by on Tuesday and see if they can point me to one. If not Amazon will be shipping me the adapter.

I also would like a 90 degree adapter so the power cord hangs straight down from the RV connection point to eliminate cord stress.
I'm new with RVs and have a question, is there a standard orientation on how the power connector is mounted in the RV? If not, then there is no guarantee the 90 degree power cord adapter is going to hang straight down.

That's easy, 4 screws and turn the RV connector 90 or 180 deg. Replace screws. Had to turn mine 90 deg.

I will venture to say there is no replacement available that goes 90 degrees.

Either an adapter or a new cord is all there is available. Could make the old cord into an extension.

I found that adapter and the one with dual twist locks when I starter my quest. the dual twist lock is probably the one I will go with. I just wish someone made the 90 degree replacement connector I am looking for so I can bypass the adapter.

Thanks

I have a rt angle pigtail. For the life of me I can't remember if I bought it ready made or made it up myself. Can't run outside & check the trailer because it is 600 miles away right now.

It has the 50amp locking ring female into the trailer & a male 50amp at the other end. My original 50amp locking ring female got damaged so I cut it off & put a regular, as in extension cord female fitting on.

Now all I have to do if I don't want to drag out 25' of heavy 50amp cable is use a 50/30amp adapter & plug my 30amp cable into that.

It is listed as an adapter on amazon and everywhere I have found it. A Connector is one end that you can install on your existing cable. and adapter has 2 connectors on it.

Thanks for trying anyway.

Correct. These adapters are available everywhere, as stated several times in this post I am looking for the connector not the adapter but thanks for the input anyway.
