Great combo with room to spare.
I've pulled a 11200 lb 5er with a '03 2500 Dodge/Cummins since the truck was new. Its a towing dream and always look forward the the next trip to the mountains ..... or even pulling in strong headwinds. Your new Dmax has lots or hp/torque so your gonna' like it.
AS other posters mentioned you will be well under the trucks GAWR and RAWR/tire load ratings in particular if dot comes knockin' which is rare.
