Dpark, good decision going for the 10,000 GVWR suspension option. We have the same set-up with a 12,000 trailer and have zero issue - unlike the prior models @9200 pound GVWR. If I had to buy another today, I would go for the 3500 with an 8 foot bed for the better ride that comes with a longer wheelbase. You won't be disappointed
