I agree with LAknox.... go to welding shop and have on put on. I had my bumper cut off... had a 5" square thick wall tube welded on with extra bracing tying it into the frame. Had the tire rack welded on and then had a 2" hitch received welded to the top of the tube (more clearance). I just drilled holes in the endo of the tubes and put hitch pins in to retain sewer hose. The bumper was so stout that when I put the frame lift kit on my camper, I jacked up the whole trailer using a 3 ton jack located in the middle of the camper. I don't regret what I did 1 bit. I use a thule 2 bike rack in my hitch for a Specialized hybrid and a Kona Stinky... the rack and bikes are close to 100 lbs (my Kona by itself is 42 lbs.) of course what you do have to worry about is overloading the rear and significantly changing your pin/tongue weight.
