For security I prefer something in .40 caliber or larger. My personalhoice is 45/70 because I can use it in rifle and pistol. A shotgun rack in the tow vehicle and another next to the bed is a big plus.
My 2014 Ram has the capability to create a WiFi hotspot for up to 10 device located within 150 feet of it. The only problem, and this applies to all major carriers, is spotty coverage in the Rocky Mts and upper states in the West.
So $34.99 per month for 3G service!!!! Could not find anything of data limits.

Don't know where you are getting your info. My dealer gave me 3 yrs of Uconnect as part of the vehicle purchase. The wifi is 4g also. But spotty out west
I own the 2013 Ram in my sig., The Wifi is free for one year, but like you, it was also given to me with UConnect for 3 years, BUT, it IS NOT 4G, It is only 3G...call them and ask, look on your screen where it shows you're connected..it shows 3G and 4G isn't offered at this time....I know because I just called after I read your post....as of now, not planned...My information came straight from Chrysler customer care.
Jim, do you know who supplies the network? Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile???
ON edit: Appears to be Sprint!!!!
