Did a search and came back with no results. Was wondering usually what length of lifespan can I expect from my AC since we have gone fulltime?

Thanks

We had to replace one AC at 10 years due to a leak in the coolant coil. The other one is still going after 12 years.

Thanks everyone. Yeah we have had some 80's models campers and class C's and everything worked fine. Of course they could have been replaced. Was just wondering. Hate to be setting in a tin can with no AC for long. LOL
Have a great time.

The compressors have been scroll compressors for a number of years now. Fewer moving parts and potential for a longer life.

If you contact the manufacturer they may be willing to give you the MTBF data (Mean Time Between Failure). But with anything mechanical or electrical, it is subject to failure at any given moment.

They are a sealed unit, not like car or home AC, so chances of Freon leak is slim. Big killer is low voltage at RV parks, get a surge protector that will shut them down in a low voltage situation!
