They are not "seats" they are air filled pads. They provide a better cushion than the factory plywood stiff foam. They come with a hand pump and instructions for use. They are popular for truckers and for motorcycles. I also considered complete seat replacement but the integrated belts stopped me.

Do the Air Hawk seats have seat belts attached to the seats or to the body?

I want air ride seats. But when the seat floats up and down, I think the seat belts need to move with the seat or else it will squish me.

I got 2 Air Hawk air ride seat pads for my 2001 Ram 3500 that work very well. That truck had very hard seat foam. They were harder than my '96. I still use them in my 2015 RAM but only for long trips.

Could just buy a GM as they ride like cars. LOL

Would not take a lot of air a foot or hand operated bicycle pump will work ,once aired up they stay up a long time ,mine does for months.

You can always buy a bigger truck... Fl-102 for instance!

FOR SURE - there are threads with (satisfied) users on the TDR
(Turbo Diesel Register) forum - with detailed info on the brand and model/s they used.

BTW - have read them in the past - not sure (been too long ago) how seat belts were handled.

Also - for other brands of p/ups - check the several forums that are avail for your brand of truck. Google is your friend!

They are out there for sure for pickups or at least ones that will work but the integrated belt is an issue. Not sure they make one (I never could find one and I looked real hard at one time as well as others) unless you somehow retro fit a regular seat belt. Iirc there were only a couple years with the integrated belt. It is possible the previous years belt hardware mounting points are still there behind the scenes. Sort of like the grab handles over the doors that were not there any more but the mounts were still there under the headliner.
