I was going thru a dealers inventory and saw this manufacturer

https://vanleighrv.com/

Looking at them I see they are fairly new to fifth wheel, but the have the Tiffin heritage behind them. They look nice, can anybody speak to quality of the units. They're supposed to be higher end, which they're priced at, they are also pretty heavy units from what I've seen.

Don't know if they should be on my shopping list or not.

If anybody has one, I'd love to hear comments.

Thanks and happy camping.

Saw one at an RV show here in San Diego and was not impressed. Plastic panels on the exterior, cheap steps & the interior did not impress as at all. I expected more.

Yep, DRV seems to be headed down hill since Thor bought them. So there is room for a new kid in town.

saw them at the RV show, I thought the interior styling was a little dated.

They just began shipping units about 2 yrs ago, so there is not going to be a lot of them out there yet, or probably much actual user history to report. Have no idea on what the sales numbers are. But they do have a good pedigree going for them. I can only recall seeing one of them on the road. The new name just happen to catch my attention.

At 16,000 GVWR and empty pin weights of 2,800 - 3,100 lbs, they are up there in the DRW truck territory.

Made by the grand children of Tiffin. We seen one at a show It was really nice but couldn't believe for the price it did not come with full body paint. Looked like quality material in the interior

They do look real nice, I don't know enough about the construction type to what's better and what's not. That's why I was hoping to hear from some owners.

Just trying to get my ducks in a row, this time next year I'll be making the jump, need to by a TV and fiver.

Those look pretty nice. Someday I'd like to graduate to something like that.

For a supposed high end trailer, they sure are lacking in tank capabilities. I guess they figure you will alway be on full hookup.
