A Tiffin ptoduct. In our "lockdown" we were watching some youtube and found several rv topics. Some showed various campers from around the world. Most were nice.

Then were saw a video of the Van Leigh, top ender... Looks as if it has some quality to it. Of course everyone says theirs is the best. It showed the Van Leigh 42RDB... BIG and would take lots of truck. But figured the Toyota could handle it since it was pushed along by the shuttle;)

Is it actually a pretty trouble free unit? $110000 or so.

We looked at them in late 2018 at Campers Inn. They did not impress me any more than other brand top of the line. I think the FR Riverstone is as nice a unit. We traded for a Cardinal Luxury listed at $109K but purchased for $58K. There is a bunch of markup on these trailers. We are extremely satisfied.

No better, no worse than other 5er's in the same price range.

They came out about five years ago and we looked at them several times, including the newer Beacon, the top of the line. Very nice real wood cabinetry and on the Beacon gorgeous paint. I think it's the nicest of the lower-upper mass produced rigs---nicer than a Landmark or Redwood and far nicer than a Montana, Bighorn or anything from Grand Design. But lacking the heavy duty bones of a DRV---the heavy box beam frame, thick walls, independent suspension, standard disc brakes, available fiberglass roof etc.

We have a Beacon, which we used last year. It’s built very well except maybe the Lippert part. We’ve only had minor problems and love the quality of the trailer. Top quality wood work and outside doors and etc. are heavier steel. It’s heavy. Tiffin started VanLeigh. It’s built about 90 miles from Allegro.

I'm happy with my Pinecrest 305RLP, but I did upgrade the suspension, and brakes.

VanLeigh now calls itself a Tiffin product, which it is, and they've been out for over a year. Their entry level is the Pincrest, middle is the Vilano, and the top-of-the-line is the Beacon. Sale prices at our store has the Beacon $98-101k and the Vilano in the 70s. The Beacon has dual pane windows and much thicker walls, lots of luxury. They sport the same Spyder control panel found in their Tiffin motorhomes. These trailers appear to be of better quality than many others we sell.

I did a google search and saw some really nice looking fivers, but I didn’t see anything mentioning Tiffin.
