anyone seen Jim . . AKA - NC Hauler

I was just deleting some old messages and ran across Jim...

Realized it's been a long time since I heard from him... the last I heard, he had a stroke back in 2017, and his new RV was flooded, then he got new DRV....

Just curious if he is still ok or not . .

I last talked to Jim Dec 2016. We both had a bad year health wise and got to be very good friends here but never got to meet face to face. We had planned to get together but he passed before we could.
Great guy and We will meet again some day. Miss talking to him a lot.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Like many here, I enjoyed his posts. I knew about all his troubles but didn't know that he passed. RIP NC Hauler...

He had a stroke... his wife Kathy had hip replacement.... His new Toy Hauler was flooded. Then he got his new DRV.. What a year he had...

Your post just have me a flood of good memories related to Jim.

He had a beautiful RAM DRW that he was very proud of. He replaced the RV with a new Mobile Suites. We talked about how cool it would be when we would meet up in the future to have our similar rigs in spots next to each other.

Not sure he really got to use the second new trailer that much. Ron and I wanted to meet up with him if he made it out West. I as well chatted w/ Jim both thru PM's and on the phone. Was going to meet up w/ him when we were in NC back in '15 and if memory serves me right, he got sick and was in the hospital. Didn't know he was a Vet.

That's truly a shame. Much too young. I wondered what happened to him. Jim and I chatted my times and I always found him a pleasure to chat with through this medium. Only time I saw him was in West Virginia. He was broke down on the side of the road going in the opposite direction on one of the interstates. He and I had a good laugh online about that later.

Jim was a great guy and a wealth of knowledge.... Can't say I remember him arguing with anyone....
