The one I looked at didn't seem to have an access panel, it appeared to me that the fridge would have to be slid out to work on it. I turned and said something to the sales guy and he just nodded, I didn't investigate any further so you are probably right. I escorted the wife out at that point. LOL
In all my years of RV'ing I've never had a pilot go out while driving, but I've had the orifice plug up, the electronic board die, etc. on various fridges and I like easy access.
My wife liked the kitchen layout in the AKLG better anyway, different strokes for different folks as they say. It seems most of us with these newer Eclipse trailers are pretty happy with them. The only thing I have added are a few 12v access points, one in the kitchen area and one on either side of the bed. Mine came with none. The factory stereo is a joke, but I didn't have any expectations in that dept.
