Quick question. Just bought and installed said hitch but will have to make adjustments when we get the new coach. BTW, lots of settings and have to figure out which one will be best.Anyways, for my question. Directions say to lube the bushings w/ a lithium type grease. Do I use the Amzoil grease I use for everything incl wheel bearings OR white lith grease?

I use the white lithium grease on mine. I bought a small tube at NAPA and keep it in my tool box. Been using the same small tube for the past 5 years.

Here are the lube points. I use AMZ/OIL on the ZERK fitting and white lithium on the rubber bushings.Welcome to the FanBoy Club!

quality lithium grease to protect the plastic pivot points. Grease may cause the plastic to breakdown sooner.

Plus it is easy to wipe up and re-apply...I would think bearing grease would create a mess.

Do you also need to lube the rails for the slider portion? If so what do you use?

I too use the lithium on the rubber and a quality synthetic grease on the zerk fitting.
