Backup camera

I just ordered a Peak backup camera for my 5er. What camera's do you guys use? Pros and Cons on which to buy.
  • I have one from RV CAMS.
    One point to remember.
Mounting it above the lights will cause the flare out just like headlights from vehicles behind if mounted too low.
Best spot is just below the lights as shown in the pictures.
  • I have a Peak camera with a 7" screen. Camera mounts on the TT's license plate bracket. I very rarely tow after dark, so headlights on the cars behind me aren't an issue.
  • I have a cheap Pyle Camera. It has worked really well for 3 years.

When you mount that one you bought be sure to place it up high on the rear of the trailer like shown below on the google image. Other wise the headlights from the vehicles coming up behind you will flare out the view.

That's where I have mine! I double tow 90% and love it just for peace of mind! I have a Rear View Safety product that I installed myself. Takes some time if you want to hide all the wires. Mounted below center running light and fished the wire down and through the rear cap and then run along side frame to the front king pin box.
