Battery Issue on stored Fiver

I recently moved my 2014 fiver from a unit with electricity to a place without. After being there 3 weeks I could barely put my slides out today. I left nothing on but obviously something is drain the batteries. If I switch off the main breaker in the powerboX when I store it after charging all weekend, will that be sufficient? The storage guy asked me if I have a battery shutoff unit. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Install a "REAL" disconnect switch at the battery, it can be in the positive or the negative side, battery will last a very long time and still run slides in and out several times.

Mine is a rotary type mounted just above the battery on the back wall of the front cover.

Very similar to this one.

Propane and carbon monoxide detectors stay on as long as battery is connected. You need a battery cut off or disconnect your battery.

I stuck my remotely operated cut off switch right by the batt also cus getting to the batt all the time is a PITA on my camper.

BTW, In my opinion, the OP's batt lasted pretty good.

Switching off the breaker in the "powerbox" does nothing for 12v. So do you have a battery shut off switch? The battery shut off, when it comes down to it does nothing to save the power in the battery. I went from a storage with power to one without a few years ago. I learn then that the only true way to save the battery was to either disconnect the pos. cable or install a disconnect right at the cables.

There will always be a draw on the battery from CO detectors, radio and microwave clocks etc. Disconnect the battery leads or get a disconnect switch.

Most factory cut offs don't actually turn everything off. You need to either disconnect the battery or install a real cut-off.
