California Maximum 5th Wheel Length

I got into a discussion with someone on another forum (a FB page), who pointed me to a AAA website that clearly shows that multiple states, including California, limit 2-axle 5th wheel trailers to a max length of 40'. Is this accurate? I thought that...

Pin Box

Purchased an 05 Fifth wheel, it has an extended pin box. I have a long bed 3500 Cummins and don't really need the longer box. Would it be advantageous to replace with a straight down box, other than shorting entire rig by a couple feet.

Do I have to use water regulator

I have been using a water regulator on my hose for years. I would love to do away with it and have a normal shower. Do I really need to use a regulator, or is the plumbing in my FW strong enough to handle more than a dribble.

5th wheel goose neck security

I have an Open Range 5th wheels with a goose neck adapter. Love it. But I'm constantly worried someone will pull the pin on the adapter when I'm not hooked up and steal it. Maybe that's because I was a cop for 27 years. I've tried to find a long enou...

Transitioning to a Fiver - Salem Hemispheres 368 RLBH

In the process of purchasing a Salem Hemispheres 368 RLBH. Really felt the floorplan suited our needs, and liked the idea of a mid-bunk, enclosed where all of the kids' stuff will be out of sight (out of mind...). Currently on maneuvers now, but sho...

So, I'm not a huge fan of my Pullrite Superglide....
