Bearing Repack

1. Lippert axles with Zerk.
2. Greased a couple times in 7 years.
3. Never inspected disassembled -- used zerk fitting to grease.
4. All four outside bearings show some pitting, and were replaced.
5. Locally obtained bearing/race worked fine in first hub, but replacement race would not fit in second.
6. Obtained parts from Lippert that did work.
7. Observed no seal failure as a result of zerk greasing.
8. All bearings were holding sufficient grease when disassembled.
9. Would suggest inspection/reps king at less than seven year interval.
10. Suggest ordering parts from manufacturer. Seals were hard to find locally.

Glad you got the service taken care of! I called Lippert this Spring, to ask about seal # for the EZ-lubes, as I wanted to have the seals in hand before taking apart. They mentioned right away, that the seals would be hard to find, and offered to ship some to me.

I have to say, they were great to talk with, and sent my seals promptly!
