Our 5th wheel is a 2005 American and it looks almost as nice as the day we took delivery of it. My question is what do you think is the best fiberglass wax to use , I normally wax our trailer 3 to 4 times a year. I've been using a wax from the Pro-Wax shop. I know these products are always evolving so what do you fellas use?

McGuires Flagship marine wax in the black bottle. It is not a cleaner wax but a pure wax. For minor oxidation I prefer the 3M marine cleaner wax. Sides & rear cap are a once a year job. Front cap, twice a year.

Colinite Fleetwax has a good reputation with the boating crowd too. Will be trying that on my saltwater kept boat next week just for a comparison.

That's what I do for my Tug and TT too, so you can't really go wrong!

Veebyes,
Maguiars has both a pure wax and a cleaner wax in their Flagship line. I have used both depending on conditions.

X1 for McGuires RV/Marine wax. One wax will generally last me for 1 yr.

X2 about Maguiars. I have been using their #50 cleaner wax but last year tried the Marine Flagship line and like the results. It is more expensive but my rig sits out and still has a great shine from last spring's wax job. I'll being waxing it again soon with the Flagship wax. It's worth it.

It's 12 years old. Keep using what you are using.

We store ours inside and that makes all the difference also.
