Best place to order HWH

I'd pull it and have a pressure test on it. Then when you find I the leak have it welded or heliarced. About any machine shop can do it once you have it out. Like old biscuit said it is probably at a bung weld.

I think that I would remove it first and determine where it is leaking. It could just be a fitting. I had a leak this pass spring. Service man wanted to order a new one. I insisted that he first pull the old one out. Sure enough, the hot water fitting coming out of the top of the tank was leaking. Just a few dollars for the fitting and about an hour labor bill. Sure beat the cost of a new water heater. Just saying......

Hot water outlet

T&P Relief Valve
Electric Element gasket
Drain Plug

Course any bung weld (where items are screwed in) could be cracked
