I don't know who told you that you can't list them together on Craigslist. There are trucks and trailers listed together all the time on it. Whoever told you that is wrong. I suggest you list the combination under the "RV" section. Folks looking for an RV on Craigslist are not going to look in the car and truck section.
If I were to do a Craigslist search in our part of the country right now, I bet I could find 10 or 15 ads for truck/RV trailer combinations for sale.
