I have a 2008 sandpiper fw that you have to raise and lower the antenna from inside, and I also have a antenna boost on it, but the places we camp most of the time, we sometimes don't get regular TV reception. Is there a type or model of antenna that would do a better job for us than a factory antenna that comes with the camper? We don't want anything like
Dish, direct TV. Don't wont to set it up or pay there fees.
Are you scanning for channels each and every time you park and every time you turn the antenna?
After you turn the antenna you then scan for channels AGAIN.
Check your coax cable and the coax connection. Digital is real sensitive and won't work on old bent up cable. I had problems and broke down and bought a new cable and it made a big difference.
And sadly I did find out that not all TV's 'accept' antenna signals the same. I have one TV that gets about 20 channels no matter where I park and the other one I am lucky to get 4 parked in the same exact spot.:R
