Big mistake

A couple weeks ago we went camping and stayed at an RV park. As I backed into the campsite a branch from a tree scraped the top of the roof. It left an abrasive mark about 8 feet long. I went up on the roof after we got home and look closely at the damage. It doesn't look like there is any penetration of the rubber membrane, however, there could be the slightest pin hole that I can't see. So I'm wondering if any of you have some suggestions on what I might do to ensure there is no leak. ie. would it be smart to place some white duct tape over the scraped area. Or, is there something better for this type of application? I really don't want to take the risk of a leak. If there is some product that I could put on the roof before it rains I'd like to do it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Eternabond
If there is a small leak/pin hole, the Eternabond will take care of the problem.
Clean the area well before applying.

There was a post a few days ago, on Ebay you can buy Eternabond by the foot. Just buy what you need to make your repair.

If you are not familiar with the product, do a forum search. There are lots of posts on the subject.

Eternabond is a great product.
