Blinds

Have any of you replaced the day/night window shades with actual blinds? I was looking around and I saw that in the new Elevation toy haulers they are putting what appears to be a 2" faux wood blind in the living area.

For me, I cant get my main window shade to stay open because it is so long and there is so much weight on it that it just slides back down. I'm thinking of replacing it and the 2 side shades with blinds.
  • You might try Blinds.com. We have used them in our house. If I was going to replace my TH ones I would consider using these guys. Good reputation & excellent return policy
  • I am with Wally's wife. Go to the old fashioned roller blind. I have 2" blinds and shutters in my house and am in the process of going back to washable draperies.
  • Had blinds on our front windows and day night shades in the bedroom. They are both the worst dust and dirt collectors ever. Took them all out and replaced them with regular window shades. Purchased them at Home Depot. Cut to size. So much easier to keep clean and they are room darkening so the sun doesn't shine through in the early morning hours unless we are awake to open them. Wipe clean with just a damp cloth. Wally's wife
