You said that you live in it full time. It's my understanding that not all manufacturers will honor their warranty if the rig is used for full timeliving. It is also my understanding that Grand Design WILL honor their warranty for full time living use. Check the fine print of the warranty.
We have a GD, but not the Solitude line. We didn't compare it to the Montana because that brand didn't have a floor plan we liked. We've been quite satisfied since day one. We've had only 2 problems: trim panl on top of the cabinets came loose (fixed with 2 screws) and the tank sensors appear to be non-functional at the panel (none of them register anything).
