brickwall

hey, i bumped the corner of my fifth wheel into my brickwall, on the outside it buckled the siding a bit. on the inside it seems that the pressed board paneling on rear of the tub is mushed the walls feel pretty stiff above and to sides and i want to put in a tub surround. do i have to go into that corner to reinfoce it or just lay the surround over the damage. i dont know if there is wood furring behind the paneling or something else seems hollow 2001 jayco qwest.
