cabin fever

It`s a warm day here in Iowa and my wife and I have got cabin fever. We went over to the storage area where our 5ER is stored just to check on her and make us hungry for spring. We wanted to ask anyone who has a Keystone Outback 296FRS if their recliner chairs actually recline all the way back or does the foot rest come up only? I guess you can tell by that question where I like to nap!!! Thanks, Denny and Ida:Z
  • Not exactly what you are asking for. We have a Cameo. Recliners were horrible, so went to Haverty's and found recliners that were electric, recline all the way and not hit the wall. They are also easier to handle. I to go over to storage building and crank up generator to make sure batteries stay up. Yes I'm like you would love to go out. Oil is a big factor out here, and with money so short probable won't go out until June. Sure is the pits. Have fun.

I am in no way trying to be rude or flip... I don't understand what you mean by this. :? What's going on with oil and how does it make money short? Gas prices here are the lowest I've seen in years and we plan on using the TT more. :h

Well if you are selling apples at $110.00 a bushel and then you can only sell them for $30.00 a bushel you will have a few dollars less than before. A lot of folks in TX. don't have any problem knowing what he means.

Not only in Texas. If you are retired and depend on the stock market. With the low oil prices you are most likely loosing money. As oil goes so does the market.
  • Thank you for explaining this. I was looking through the lens of a consumer and not a vendor. I'm glad I asked and appreciate the explanation!
  • Our recliners go back all the way but I hate moving them around. This year they are getting replaced with the eauro style glider rocker recliners.

I dont want to try to start a fight but it is my opinion that the crazy high oil prices put more people out of work then the low prices. There was a point where it was costing me just under 1/2 of my paycheck just to put gas in the car to get to work each week. There were a lot of people that lost thier homes because they couldntr make morgae payments cause they had to put gas in just to get to work to keep food on the table while the oil companies were raking in record proffits. Now rather than making billions they are only making hundreds of millions. Cant say I feel real bad. When they have to live for years on ramen noodles and mac&cheese with dollar store hotdogs I might start feeling for them.
