Cabo Manufactured by Carriage

Anyone know anything about them? I know Carriage was a good co. but know nothing about a Cabo. Are they any good? Any problems with them? would you buy one again?
Have a line on a 2011 model, thinking about making an offer if it's still around in the spring.
Haven't been able to find out much on the Internet either!
Thanks in advance!
  • Great info, a friend is considering one for FT use, and I was not familiar with the brand! :)
  • THANKS! I knew it was a lower price model. But just wondered if any one had one and how it lasts. My current Jayco was not a "full time" unit either. But it is going strong after 10yrs. and over 1300 nights spent in it. Still might just keep it. But starting to think about a trade!
  • The Cabo was Carriage attempt to come out with a lower price point unit designed to go after the mid-price market. Never checked them out, but like other we love our Cameo.
  • Carriage made a high quality unit and a lot of them are fulltimer rigs. The Cabo was only made for a few years and it was designed with a very modern interior. I don't think it had a very high carrying capacity and as such, might not be suitable for living in. There is a Yahoo Carriage group and you might be able to get more feedback from them. It's quite active with over 2100 members.

We've been living in ours for almost 7 years now - good unit.
    Good luck,
  • I bought my first Carriage in June 2011. 31ft. full body paint. An awesome unit. We dropped 6 ft. in length and the Carriage was designed so well we make it fine without the extra 6 ft. Love the quality and design. Best unit I ever owned. I would not be afraid of anything Carriage.
