Ceiling lights in Alpenlite Voyager

I have a 2006 Alpenlite Voyager which has eight recessed ceiling lights which have a round, 4 1/2" glass diffuser fitting tight against the ceiling. I have been unable to get the diffusers off to change burned out bulbs. It would appear that they just snap into place but even with the assistance of a table knife blade, I have been unable to budge them. Any ideas?
  • No, they are not snap in. They are not push & turn either. They are a twist only. Not threaded.

Same lights in our 2007 Voyager.

An oil filter remover might work. Have used a rubber pad for getting tough bottle tops off with success.

Nice to come across another Voyager owner. You are a member of a very exclusive club.
