- elkyroseExplorerWe also didn't care for the sofa sleeper in our Mountain Air so we changed it out with a full House Leather sofa....How did we do it??
We opened the emergency escape window then blocking it in the up position in the living room and stuck the forks of a forklift in there.. Loaded the sleeper on it end ways and out it went...
The 8' leather sofa went in the same way...Now Mama's happy and so I get be also.. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIWe took our very nice leather Flexsteel cough and chairs and swapped them for the ugly couch and POS recliners that were in our MS when we did the trade. We paid the dealer an extra $500 to do the swap and so glad we did.
Out the front door. - Pop-Pop_CExplorerWe want to do the same thing, remove the L/J COUCH.
My question is , what is the floor and wall like when you remove them.
Don't think that the recliners will cover the wall comepletly .
Also we have a heat duct coming out the end by the door.
2013 Winnebago, Journey, 40U, - goducks10ExplorerWe removed the junk rear sofa/bed and put a 'Best' brand theater love seat in. Super easy. Seat backs come off, then just tilt sideways through the door.

I have just posted about La-Z-Boy furniture we bought for our 5er.. - NorskemanExplorerWe replaced the sofa with a lazy boy - just fit through the door going through vertical. The back came of the original sofa so it was easy to get it through the door.
- Rob_FlaExplorerWe removed the recliners in our last 5er and replaced them with a Lane Theater Seating unit.
The recliners came out the door with no problem and the Theater Seating unit comes apart in 3 pieces and went through the door with ease.
When we bought our current 5th Wheel, we removed the recliners from the new 5th Wheel and took our Theater seating unit apart and moved it from our old 5th Wheel to our new 5th Wheel. - KMC6970ExplorerIf it is a sleeper to replace either take it apart by removing bed (did once) or remove bed (4-6 screws) then remove one arm of couch to get out door then reassemble outside if you wish. We have beautiful black leather side by side Lazy Boy recliners (all one piece) that we measured at store and just made it through the door with backs off. Let the delivery guys do the work to move and reassemble inside. Works great for us.
