Charge up the battery; let it sit overnight. Measure the voltage.
Connect it back up. Connect to shore power or run gen.
Measure the voltage again.
Turn off the external shore (or gen) power.
Turn on a couple of lights and leave them on for an hour or so.
Measure battery.
Re-connect shore power.
Measure again.
Given those readings, you (we) should be able to have a good idea how things are working well before your next trip.
Readings should be at least to one decimal place ......12.6
