Cord adapters

Just spent some time looking, but can't seem to find what I want. Looking for a 50a to 20a adapter, but want one that had a 50a locking connection. Just want to save having to drag out a 50a cord just to plug in a 20a cord and don't want to "stack" adapter on adapter on adapter.

  • Here's another option from Amazon that we've been using for some time now.

Same idea, but without the cord. Works great as we have access to a 20A 110VAC plug where we store our rig, and this way, we don't have to pull out the 50A 'anaconda' cord and hook up a bunch of adapters to get some juice. Don't think I'd use these to run any high-amperage devices, though. (AC in particular). Great for running the refrigerator and keeping the batteries topped off between trips.

Just out of curiosity...why is a 50 amp twist only three prong while a regular 50 amp plug is 4? Is the ground that big flat spot?

    YES!

Perfect! Don't know why I couldn't find it on Amazon, as that's the fist place I looked. :h Thanks!

Thanks - I need one of these as well to run a small dehumidifier while in storage.
