Cuddeback Dry Lake

Is it possible to take a diesel pusher out onto Cuddeback Dry Lake in Southern Cal.? I would like to set up a weekend trip out there, but I don't know if the dirt roads are passable for a big diesel.
I don't want to get stuck 10 miles from the road in a patch of sand!

Thanks!!

Dusting is for when you get home. Go out, have fun, come home dirty.

Another excuse to work on the toy hauler and the toys instead of "honeydos" "But honey I can't paint the house this weekend, look how dirty the motorhome and toys are, what would the neighbors say?"
  • Thanks for the info!

No kidding, bad year for Dust. I live it everyday in the dez
  • You should be fine. I've pulled my toy haulers out there with 2WD before.

I seem to recall that the dirt roads are okay. I'll be sure not to go during the wet season.
  • I have not been there in mine but I know someone with a 40' pulling a 26' enclosed trailer that has been there many, many times....the only time he felt it might be an issue was during/after a HUGE rain storm.
