My opinion.
Living full time in Arizona, no amount or variety or special sauces
can beat Mother Nature. Does the RV Industry use less then the
optimal quality application process and decal ?...probably. Can the
end user prolong the life cycle of the decal ? .... probably, as
discussed: hidden storage, frequent chemical massages, avoid decal
toxins... labor.... throw cash at it. Is decal survivability likely to change
in the foreseeable future? ... not in Arizona. Does decal cancer affect re-sale value ?...probably. (Forum members worry about the "Bones" , weekend
users worry about the cosmetics...both have their validity).
Options... remove, replace, stem to stern paint, or as above (labor). My preference... live with it, grumble about it, question why the industry "settles" for "inadequate" on $60K- 150k purchases. Perhaps consider the selling of "no decal" options for us desert dwellers...
I really wouldn't mind the loss of triplicate / quadruplicate "artic"
logos here in the Phoenix basin ... and am comfortable with plain vanilla exterior... and good grief...won't even discuss having a "Big Horn ". I did voluntarily remove Artic Fox edition of the nose-cone, and "www.free advertising.com" off the tail section.
I really appreciated the "travelling billboard" approach. Smooth.
