So something is not working for me. I am getting a Signal 775 trouble communicating with dish. I have 3 connections in the outside command center. 1 for cable..2 different ones that both say satellite...

I had a similar issues first time I tried to use my satelite on our Jayco. If you have two TVs that are connected to separate receivers, does the other TV receive signal? This will tell you whether the issue is between the splitter in the basement and the receiver or the splitter. You have already ruled out the connection at the dish by running the cable in the window directly to the receiver.
My issue turned out to be the connection of the cable behind the connector plate where you connect the cable from receiver to satellite. The connector in the wall plate was not tightly attached. When the cable was connected from the receiver side, it backed the cable off on the back side of the plate. The result no connection to dish.
