Does anyone else find...

...the manufacturers' habit of putting new model-year RVs on dealers' lots =before= they update their old brochures, sample books and WEB SITES annoying as hell?

    That is so true!!!

I don't shop that often for a new RV, so it doesn't really annoy me.

That last time we were in the market for a new RV, I found just the opposite. Could not find the newest model, shown on their web-site, on any dealer's lot. Wanted to see in person before making a decision on which model to order.

The other one on my short list, a KZ, I can't find anywhere closer than about 600 miles. There is 1 KZ dealer in the entire state of AZ and I'm not dropping ~$40k without sitting my ass in one, first. :-)

Somebody on here bought a new RV and in the brochure said tanks were listed as a certain size but in real life tanks were actually a lot smaller. After buying and finding out different he questioned the manufacture. Manufacture directed him to an asterisk and a footnote that said the manufacture has the right to change at any time, or words to that effect.

Now days, I guess people need to bring along a empty gallon jug to verify tanks sizes before signing any paper work.
  • Yes I do. I hate looking up a new rig when all the specs are marked "TBD" not just on weight but on fresh water etc...
