dometic bedroom air conditioner

Question

Our warranty ran out less than a month on our 2016 40ft montana fifth wheel.  Last night the bedroom air conditioner was not cooling.  It runs but does not cooling.  We noticed it has been dumping alot of water lately.  It has been almost 100 degrees every day in June here in Alabama.  Has anyone replaced their air conditioner and have you ordered online besides camping world. thanks

Don't know about Alabama, but here in Mi, dogwood trees are dripping with white cotton that they are dropping. A/C units suck this stuff into the cooling fins on the outer unit. Check to make sure it is clean, this is important to the cooling of the unit.

I would guess it simply frozen up.  Take the grill off and look at the coils.  If their white with frost that your problem.  ACs will do this if there is not enough air flow across the coils.

You might check the warranty Dometic provides.  Many time the components of RVs provide a longer warranty than the RV maker. Some have some compassion that goes further as well.

And also if you do order one I would suggest a low profile one, wish I had when I added one to my Crusader
