don't buy an Attitude unless you want a bad attitude

just a vent thread. every **** thing on this trailer has broken or needed to be fixed before it broke. are all trailers built as poorly as attitude? if i charged Attitude $15 an hour for my time fixing stuff and parts, they would owe me close to $40,000, i am conservatively guessing

any true toyhauler fifth wheel people on here who have tried a bunch of brands? which one is the built the best?

Yet we are in the same city as you and have a 2012 Cougar with zero issues. Unfortunately, they all can have problems. The key to me is how the dealer and manufacturer handle them. I have had poor luck with our CW service here on other trailers and can see why people would shy away from certain brands based on their experiences.

  • Did you just buy this 07 with a mountain of issues or have you had issues with it since you bought it new in 07? I ask because perhaps the previous owner used up all its good years and sold it to you when everything was going south at the ten year mark.
  • Happy with my Cyclone, teething problems but I fixed them myself. No complaints about Heartland.

    .

Maybe you should ask Toy Hauler "fifth wheel people" on the......

    TOY HAULER FORUM..:S

    .
  • Well your right. While looking for a Toy Hauler, we checked out the Attitude line. They look great in the pictures, but when we checked them out in person, it was full of design and workmanship issues brand new. The axels and springs looked like they were way undersized. The shelf paper wall paper was peeling at the dealer. Looked at a Stealth and Sandstorm from Forest River. What a difference. Purchased the Stealth. Have had zero problems and many happy camping trips.
  • It's the luck of the straw....

We had our Sprinter back at the Dealer twice.
  • I have a Stellar toy hauler. I believe it's the same company that's builds yours. I just finished working a deal for different brand 5th wheel to get rid of this piece of garbage. I haven't stopped working on it since I bought it. If the next camper is as bad as this one, it will be the last regardless of how much I like traveling and camping with it. Too expensive and not worth the trouble.
