Sitting around the campfire with a group of people brings to mind 3 topics you never want to participate in. Religion, politics and dually verses SRW LOL.
I would suggest you do the math and figure out what would be best suited for your specific needs and possible future RV plans. IMHO - If a dually seems like the best choice, I would not let the width of the truck scare you off unless you live in a cramped downtown location. Our daily driver is a crew dually and we use it for everything. Parking is no big deal and we rarely used drive throughs when we had a car. I think the dually fears are mostly in peoples heads if they have never owned one. If you are skilled enough to drive an RV you certainly won't have a problem with a dually. Get what you want as long as you're within weight limits.
