Elkridge or Sprinter Copper Canyon?

Still looking for our first fifth wheel, but I think the wife and I have narrowed it down to two choices:

2012 Keystone Sprinter Copper Canyon 273FWRET

2012 Heartland Elkridge 28TSRE

We love the space-efficient forward kitchen and rear entertainment center floorplan of these units. There are some minor differences between them but both are outwardly pretty similar and both are listed at about $30,000 (pre-negotiation, of course :C ) Both are new.

My question is: are there any dramatic differences between these units in terms of quality, reliability, longevity, resale price, etc?
  • We were gonna buy an Elkridge.
    Very nice 5ith.

Ended up buying the Greystone with a mid forward kitchen.
Lots of windows in the rear of the coach.
    Wife loves it.

    I recommend the Heartland brand.
  • When we were first 5er shopping we looked at Heartlands and Montanas. Each had their pro/cons but we decided that the Montana gave us more bang for our buck (that was pre Thor buying Heartland)

I would go with the Heartland Elkridge myself. Just dont see the quality in the Sprinter models.
