I have the TST system. I love the system. They are not perfect. The fault with it is that the sensors only transmit pressure and temp EVERY 5 MINUTES. (Page 2 of Instruction Manual) So a slow leak will/should get detected and a fast or sudden loss in pressure may get detected if no complete loss within the 5 minutes where no sending takes place.
Sounds like OP had sudden total loss during the 5 minute where no signal was being sent.
