Agree with Chris, I've not seen an ST rated to 87 mph, not a Carlisle...normally Max for some of these ST is 65 mph....which is about as fast as I want to tow one, get good mpg and be safe.
I was running I26 yesterday evening coming home from work and a 1 ton SRW Superduty was towing, what I perceived to be about a 35' Montana...speed limit on that part of I26 is 60 mph, just before it merges with I40 in Asheville...I was running about 63 mph and he went by me almost like I was standing still...was almost out of sight before I knew it....had to have been going 75 mph at least, I ran up to 70 for a bit and wasn't catching him....that's scary...Just don't understand what the hurry is..:h
