Has anyone done business with a company called WHOLESALE WARRANTY.COM?

They sell various RV extended warranties. Any comments or information would be appreciated.

Wholesale Warranties is really a broker that deals with several different warranty companies. That being said, we got our policy thru WW. We had the residential fridge go out on a Sunday and was unable to get ahold of my policy underwriter directly (they had and answering service on Sundays) so made an appointment directly with Sears. Short story WW paid the repairs even though I didn't have prior approval due to the circumstances.

Wholesale Warranties.com has my highest recommendation. I purchased a policy with them and then renewed it, and I had one of my children purchase a policy for their rig with WholesaleWarranties. They discussed a group of policies with me and helped me select one that seemed right for my needs. When I had a claim, an wasn't sure how to proceed, I called them, received an immediate response, and they walked me through the claim process. When I felt one claim was taking too long to process, I called THEM and they called the insurance company, and within hours I had a senior official from the insurance company call me back and explain that due to an agents illness the claim was pushed aside by mistake and was now being given priority. All ended fine. They are active in the RV community, showing up at FMCA Rallies and other RV events. Doing business with them would be a good choice.
JMHO (side note: I really have no personal interest in the company or any associates of the company, I just feel that praise should be given when praise is due.)
Happy Trails.

I looked into Extended Warranties when we bought our Class C (new) - there were SO many hoops to jump through (not to mention time delays - if your RV breaks down on a Friday night - you're screwed until Monday AM); not every repair place deals with every warranty offerer; and in OUR case, a $1500 warranty would have wasted our money because we've spent about $300 in repairs in 10 years.

One thing to consider, extended warranties do not cover delamination.

Something I learned from my Grandfather (a self-made Millionaire, when it was not easy to do)

Always Insure something you can't afford to replace/repair
Never Insure something you can.

Insurance is the only form of gambling that is legal in all jurisdictions. Like all forms of gambling, it always favors the house.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Send your money to me instead...or to a Nigerian P.O. box. You have about the same odds of getting any of it back as you do with an extended service warranty.

You will find lots of info if you Google it and lots of opinions, on this forum and on many others. We did not use that company but bought a 6 year warranty on our motorhome when we had it. Used it for a small claim and no problems. Tried to use it again for a bigger problem and they fought me to the bitter end. I finally gave up, just like they wanted. Read the fine print as the odds are stacked in their favor. If you think about it the only reason they are in business is to make money. I will never have another one.
