On my 2013 3200 the garage ac duct work collapsed. The garage only has ac ducting from the main ac unit in living area. Dealer said they would have to remove the roof to repair it. Definitely didn't want them to mess with a perfectly good roof. So I worked out a deal with them. They put a 3rd ac unit in the garage ( at their cost and warrantied) instead of removing and replacing the roof.
However, they wouldn't tie it into the existing electrical system. I have to plug the garage ac into 110. They also told me that the generator couldn't handle all three ac units running at once.
My questions are can the gen handle all three?. Do I need a power management system? How difficult is it to install? How difficult would it be tie the 3rd ac into the existing electrical system so I can run everything off the 50amp shoreline?
If anyone has any thoughts on this I would greatly appreciate any input.
I plan to wire mine like yours and use an extra cord dedicated to the 3rd A/C and plug into the campground box. I wouldn't attempt to run 3 off the genny. 5500 watts / 120 volts = 45.83 amps. I'd figure each a/c to be 12-15 amps. I imagine there's a bit of wiring to install a load management system.
