My DW and I are looking at the Flagstaff 8528BHWS to full time in beginning the end of this year.

Has anyone used this unit for long term/FT? If so do you have the dual pane windows and how do you like them?

Curious also how the 12v tank pads have worked. We will be FT in East Tennessee and want to be sure the unit can keep us warm. We will be in a commercial campground with full hook ups.

The extra half bath is one of the big selling points for us with this unit.

Thanks

We lived full-time in a Montana 5W with Arctic package for 8 years, traveling from NH to AZ to WA to LA and back again and again. A year ago we traded for a new Flagstaff 8528RKWS. There is a WORLD of difference in the two rigs. The Flagstaff is definitely lighter and shorter, with way less insulation in the walls and floors. I'm not sure I would like living in this new one because the interior climate does not cool nor heat as effectively as the Montana did. We got the Diamond package on the Flagstaff which includes tinted windows. I traveled for six weeks last summer in the Midwest and the windows did not seem to help the temperature that much, not as much as better insulation might have. The tinted windows also make it darker inside so we had to have lights on more. If you get one, make sure you get the ceiling fan. That does help.
