Me Too!! Going on 8 years and our CC Daydreamer's still the bell of the ball and in my opinion nobody beats Cedar Creeks dedication to it's customers after the sale! Now with that being said I've seen first hand how my buddy with a forest River salem got totally screwed around over a tire recall and as I found out the different divisions of Forest River act differently! I would look at a Cedar Creek myself.

OP-I suggest that if they have the Darco fabric on the bottom of the slides that I would continue to look. Lot's of problems with them and FR denies that there is an issue. Many who have the wrap are now out of warranty.

I have had very few problems with my Cherokee.

There are so many different makes of trailers that Forest River owns. Some are better than others. Forest River has bought different makes, and then let's the company run pretty much as it was before they bought them. So there is no, "all Forrest River units suck" or "all Forest River units are the best thing made". They are all different, and happen to be owned by Forest River.

Happy with my Sandpiper made by Forrest River, is a 5th wheel.

95% of what you will look at will be made by two parent companies, Thor and Forrest River. Both have very happy customers and bothe have very unhappy customers.

Go over to forestriverforums.com for lots of complaints (but some folks have good experiences). We're sick of our 8-month old Wildcat. Going to look for a new FW tomorrow, not FR.

We are very happy with our Cedar Creek and with our support from the factory. I do not know anything about the Cherokee. I think a great 5th wheel is the Silverback. Same as the Cedar Creek without the fancy amenities.
