Curlida - - Just guessing here. But I have a similar situation with a residential fridge. In my case the whole drivers side is one big full wall slide-out. I've noticed that with all power disconnected all of the AC outlets on the slide-out are powered up. I can run my coffee pot when boondocking. That implies that the batteries are powering the inverter that also feeds all of the AC outlets in the slide out. What I didn't check on and maybe you might is to see if there is a regular circuit breaker protecting the circuit on the fridge side. There has to be some sort of breaker somewhere, unless the inverter itself has the breaker.
